Getting Started

What is Publr?
- Publr is a free micro-blogging service.
Are posts limited to 140 characters?
- Nope, you can post as much text in each post as you want.
Signing up
- Signing up is easy. All you need is an email address. We will never give out your email address to 3rd parties or send you spam.
Publish something
- Once you've signed up, you can go to your dashboard to post one of ten types of media. File size limits for uploads is 50mb for videos and 10mb for audio.
Using the bookmarklet
- The bookmarklet provides a way to post content from websites you're visiting. To use the bookmarklet, check out the tools page.
Can people comment on my blog?
- Yes, you can add comments to your blog using a 3rd party tool called Disqus. You can view instructions on how to set this up here.

Is Publr free?
- Yes! Absolutely everything about Publr is free to use.
Can I use my own domain name?
- Yes! You may point your own domain to your Publr blog. Anybody that accesses your domain via yourname.publr.com will automatically be redirected to your custom domain. For instructions on setting up your custom domain, go here.
How large of files can I upload?
- The file upload limit is 50mb for videos and 10mb for audio, but you can always publish larger files that are hosted elsewhere on your blog.
